BRUSSELS, Jan 17 (Reuters) - Yields on Belgian three-month treasury bills rose Belgium from 18-month lows in a short-term debt auction raising 2.96 billion euros ($3.75 billion) on Tuesday, debt agency data showed.
The average yield for three-month treasury bills increased to 0.429 percent from 0.264 percent at the previous auction at the start of the month.
Yields for 12-month paper were on average 1.162 percent, below the 2.167 percent the last time that maturity of treasury bills were sold in December.
The amount sold was in the middle of a 2.7 to 3.3 billion euro target range.
