Hourly Labour Costs Rose To 16.5 euros in 2011 | Cyprus News ...

eurostat hourly labour costs cyprusThe average hourly labour cost in Cyprus rose from 15.3 euros in 2008 to 16.5 euros in 2011, according to Eurostat's latest report.

Hourly costs vary widely across the EU27, Cyprus' rates rank somewhere in the middle. The highest hourly costs are in Belgium, where workers cost an average of 39.3 euros per hour, and in Denmark, where they cost 38.6 euros per hour.

The lowest rates can be found in Latvia (5.9 euros per hour) and Lithuania (5.5 euros per hour).

The average salary in Cyprus is 2,090 euros for men and 1,712 euros for women (2012 figures).
